(no subject)
many crazy happy insane and not so insane things have happened lately. first off,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TEEGE!
i'd give you somthing, but seeing as how i'm broke now, all i have is my love. besides, i figure with all the lunches, dinners and movies i treated you to, we're more than even.
the next thing is that the band's become a reality. the troubadours. a cd insert would look like this:
derek martin: vocals, percussion, bass
mike keil: drums
lori dezwarte: violin, vocals
robin cazavilan: vocals, keyboard
ben erbes: bass, keyboard
keith rollins: guitar, vocals
taylor stichka: saxophone
and we played our first concert thrusday. we didn't do so hot, but i'm not worried. we put everything together in about two weeks and only 2 practices. (practices not being that long). we met on saturday and talked about the band between all of us and it sounds like everyone's really excited and ready to be committed to it.
is it all coming together? yes. dare i say it, yes, i think it is.
school this past week wasn't all that hot. but now i have a bit more organization and a bit more possibility for turning this week around.
i've written about 25 songs.
aside from that i've been feeling kind of empty. it's kind of a bummer because as one part of my life begins to look up, another begins to start feeling down. will i ever feel content? if i won't ever feel content can i ever understand that i should be content?
yeah. this post isn't much of anything. this is me apologizing for that.
