the bad news first:
and it's only bad...if you consider it bad. i'll be honest and say that i didn't expect it, mostly because i know myself and i have powers of standard observation: basically, i KNOW i'm not my sister...and certainly i don't match her academically. so not getting into duke, even though they SAID they had a huuuuge number of applicants and such...i should understand.
well, i do understand.
but my dad is a little disappointed. he actually said the entire FULL ENGLISH sentence "I'm disappointed."
i dunno. i know in a way he's happy cuz i did get accepted into other colleges, but how proud would he have been if he could've said, "my youngest daughter goes to duke too."
just something to think about.

THE GOOD NEWS!
BEFORE finding out Duke's decision, I had the most wonderful time at flippin Disney. Magic Kingdom baby!

oh man. we had so much fun. it was basically more than half the day laughing at each other and riding rides and talking and i know this sounds cheesy but you know it's good when you're in an hour long line looking quite the worse for wear and he still loves EVERYTHING and thinks everything you do "deserves a kiss".
yeah.
definitely the best day of spring break.
got home WAY late and got into bed BUTT tired.
and i still am.
