So Nic got her first tattoo at Moon's studio apartment at Bali Lane. Nice place, the walls are painted black & red- exactly what i wanted to paint my room sometime ago but dad refused to buy me the black paint but thats another story for another day. I dont really know why i am writing in lj, no i cant bear to leave ashes so i wont entertain the thought of moving here.
Anyway, after being an onlooker to this whole experience, i think the only way to comprehend the pain is to put it this way- the needle is the pencil and your skin is the canvas. When the artwork calls for shading, the tattooist would be colouring on your skin... with a needle. hahaha thats how it looked to me.
The feeling you get afterwards however, quote Nic, "i feel like a completely new person."

As for the meaning of the tattoo i dont think its very convenient for me to talk about it. She was clearly in pain but she was so determined to do it, to touch the finish line. She got through every pain on her own and she is who she is today because of her. Nic is not who she was 2 years ago and as a friend i just feel so proud to have witnessed this huge leap of growth in her. She WAS an annoying, demanding, whining piece of brat (hahaha sorry) but just look at who she is today.
