sort of. the thing is i can't track her down...i don't have an address for her where they can mail the summons.
i tried contacting her parents (i sent a certified letter), and apparently they're okay with their daughter screwing someone out of almost a thousand bucks! cause i never heard back from them.
not that this is terribly useful advice, but if you have their names and address, you should continue to hound them.
like, regular phone calls and letters. just cause one letter is easy to ignore, but talking to someone on the phone, well...its harder to keep that up.
I mentioned this to my dad, and he suggested that your best bet is to actually start with the post office. If she stole mail from you (the letters from the management company) then she can be charged with a criminal offense. If you file a report with the post office, then they can begin an investigation and it'll be a lot easier for them to find her than it would be for you. Granted, there's always a chance that they won't be able to or just too lazy to do something, but it's worth a shot.
