maybe i'm just 2 demanding
met up with beller last nite for the screening of "purple rain" at mc carren pool and the end of summer.
also our six-year anniversary of knowing each other. we celebrated, in true josie-and-beller style, by getting into an argument (about whether norman mailer could accurately be described as a novelist).
racheljilldaniele showed up (you know, you get one you get all of 'em) a little later. and after the movie we followed our weekly tradition of 2-for-1 drinks in greenpoint, where i followed my weekly tradition of kicking everyone's asses at trivial pursuit.
i'll admit it. i'm cocky about my trivia aptitude.
but as i told rachel last nite, it's the one thing i have going for me.
i drank a couple beers. bethany showed up in gold lamé. ryan and vance nicknamed me carmen sandiego (i'm assuming cause i got all the geography questions, which doesn't actually make sense if you think about it. wouldn't that make me not carmen herself, but one of the dorky kids on the tv show?). i had a little whiskey. that random guy we were talking to three weeks ago who started being a dick to me for no reason appeared out of nowhere and kind of tried to explain himself. then the random guy and bethany drove me home to flatbush. i really have no idea why.
...and that will have to be enough of these lovelies to last me for the next six weeks.
