fun fact: bright eyes (i know, scoff scoff, but some of us were pretty into him in high school) apparently wrote the song "old soul song (for a new world order)" about the protest above. which was i believe my first.
i remember that. the police, and the barricades, and the "crowd...pushing forward till they swallowed the police."

on that note...think i'll be going to the protest at brooklyn borough hall tonite.
