[Lars has just ended his shift at the Center and is heading back to the Inn, with his Psyduck living up to his moniker and tagging along) when he spots a familiar face wandering around town. He smiles and waves.]

[Tagg waddles towards the nameless trainer and cocks his head at Hanna. 'What is that?' Creepy psyduck stare is extremely creepy.]

[And while Mr. Nameless may find it a little strange, Hanna only sees this as another opprotunity to make a new friend. With a happy sound to Lars, he starts wiggling in his "put me down!" fashion, and his trainer complies. This allows him to toddle over to Tagg and say hi.]

Huh? Oh, yeah. Got it all patched up now. Though it's still kinda stiff. Healing's a lot slower here than it was back home.

[Tagg regards Hanna with a brief eye flicker, but his eyes are soon stuck solely on the fancy thing on his head. Tagg starts making grabby motions towards the hat.]

Oh, yeah, I will. Wouldn't want to lose another one especially since I don't think they can fix that here.

So are you staying here for a while or are you heading off to that city down the road?

[Tagg eagerly takes the hat, then tries to wear it on his face (...what? He's cold!). It slips down and hangs loosely off his beak. He seems satisfied with this, though, and promptly turns around and toddles aw- dang it Tagg that's not how you share!]

I'm staying here until the weather clears up. It doesn't look like it plans on getting warmer, and the travel here from New Bark was bad enough. How about you?

Eh, not sure yet. I'd like to head towards that huge city everyone keeps talking about, but I don't want to travel when the weather's like this.

[It takes a moment for Tagg to realize he's being followed, and he... doesn't really like it. Why are you following him he just wanted to steal this hat in peace! He waddles quickly over to Lars and tries to climb up his legs.]

Huh? Hey! That's not yours. [Lars snatches the hat of his face and holds it out to Gallahand.] Sorry 'bout that.

And yes, the weather's not looking like it will get much better either. I'm wary of traveling myself, but have a feeling I will be anyway.

It's Gold-something. I can't remember the full name. But it sounds like the happening place to be, y'know?

Goldenrod. From the looks of the map, it seems large enough. I have heard little about it though.

As do I, though I also hope Johto's summers aren't as harsh as it's winters...
