[Whoever this is, they seem quite pleased with the Pokegear. And then the video flips off. After a few moments, it's broadcasting again, same Pokemon, same happy squeals. And then off. And then on

[ The video starts with a Meowth mostly filling the screen, mewling in what can be assumed to be the cat equivalent of motherly cooing at the Togepi. Napoleon allows this for a minute before he rolls his eyes and pulls her back to his own shoulder. ]

I just got into Cherrygrove and it was a little bit over three days, between wild pokémon and trudging through the snow.

[But Togepi was so pleased with the Meowth, mister Napoleon! Though he now seems pretty content with someone else to meet too.]

...and how often did you run into wild Pokemon, by chance?

[It's always good to plan ahead, and knowing exactly how often he will need..."defending" would be a good thing to plan for.]

[ But Napoleon needs to talk to Ulysses, little Togepi! Nevermind that Joséphine is still making fussy little noises at the other pokémon, but he's ignoring it. ]

Fairly frequently, though hopefully there's a couple of repel canisters in your bag you can use if you need to scare them off for a bit.

Ah, so that is what those are used for. I was wondering about that. Thank you again. Do you happen to also know what these spray bottles are for?

Not a problem! I actually tested them out, myself, since I didn't know what they were either. [ Ah. Napoleon nods. ] Those are used to treat your pokémon's injuries. Joséphine perked right up when I used one on her.

[video] Too many references to "Gallahad" has kind of stuck that name in my head. :<

[He slips the potion back into the bag before returning to look at the screen]

[ He tips his tricorne hat in greeting, because he still hasn't taken it off yet. ]

[Togepi chooses this moment to make a delighted squeal, almost as if happy about this development but it's kind of hard to be sure. It isn't like anyone can read the minds of Pokemon, after all.]

[ Alas, if only they could read their minds. But Joséphine is making equally pleased noises, specifically purring like a lawnmower. ]
