Indeed I did. And he seems quite happy with this.

[He glances at the Pokemon who is busy playing with one of his fingers.]

Are all Pokemon like this? I've seen a few others, but I've never gotten the chance to see them really interact with anyone.

It's really only the babies who are.

So when he evolves, he may grow out of it?

[That sounds both like a relief and a little disappointing. But he won't dwell on it much.]

He might. I don't have a Togepi, so I dunno.

I suppose we'll see then, won't we?

On a relative note, what do you have? If you don't mind my asking.

Aipom, Pidgeotto, Gengar, Arbok, Umbreon, Pikachu, Wooper, Buneary and a Charmander.

I collected them over the course of seven months.

That's quite the collection. I'd imagine a bit hard to keep track of as well.

Well that's good to hear. I suppose I'm just used to Hanna running off when I'm not looking.

Hanna... Pokemon? Or friend of yours from home?

Pokemon.

[He seems to stop and think a moment.]

Well, I suppose my friend does this quite often as well. He can be just as much of a handful.

[With that, he chuckles.]

Yet another similarity.

... one of my Pokemon reminds me of a friend I have back home. Violent tendencies and all.

...From your expression, I am going to go out on a limb to say that it isn't exactly a reminder you enjoy?

[SIGH] She's my best friend, but she doesn't have to be so violent.

[Oh. Well.]

At least she's a friend then? I think I'd prefer someone violent as a friend rather than an enemy.
