The grand thing is that you really could return to school if you feel so strongly about it. You might think it's just too late, but honestly it isn't. Intent is the driving force behind all successful magick. Let Goddess know it's what you want, and I guarantee She'll be willing to help you find the way, even if it might not be an easy road getting there.
Folks in worse straits than you have found the means to do it. Have faith in yourself. Young people make a lot of mistakes and shitty decisions because that's simply how they grow! There are no shortcuts to wisdom, and wisdom really does come best with age and experience.
Hell, most of my decisions that I regret are things that there is simply no remedy for now. Like allowing my mother to conrtrol me for as long as she did, because so many bad decisions were made in trying to make her happy. So many opportunities lost, friendships broken, romancves squandered.
Regret is a bone laced with crack. Even once you know there's no point in gnawing on it anymore, it can be awfully hard to put down. :-/
