BoA's US Debut

Ah, yes. Asian artists have probably dreamed the moment where they debut in the States and release an album (or a single). To my knowledge (little that I have), I have yet to see an Asian artist become successful on their US debut. I can think of Utada Hikaru. She's released an English album in the States about four years ago named Exodus and I think it wasn't as successful as everyone (everyone as in Utada herself, her agency, her fans all over the world and probably all Japanese people who love her music) thought. Was it because she was a Japanese artist not American? No way. I've seen many non-American singers become succesful in the States. Was it because of the type of her songs? Posssible explanation. As much as I can't quite pin point the reasons why she wasn't succesful, I think the US isn't ready for an Asian artist. I've seen BoA's teasers of her debut album (or the title song) called Eat You Up (Teaser 1 and Teaser 2). Her dancing skills is superb in my amateur eyes (I know nothing of dancing) but ...

WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY THINKING?! OH, COME ON~! EAT YOU UP?!?!?!
I had to pause and stare at the title of the song when I first saw it. What the hell? Couldn't they think of anything better? I just wish her a lot of luck! If she becomes succesful in the States, I would applaud for BoA for breaking the barrier that a lot of Asian entertainers faced in the Western world (not just singers).

Anyways, I need to update my song list. Anyone suggest any good new songs?
