Overhauling

Day 2. Not sure how things will go from here on in, since I had the past two days off, and now it's back to work. Tomorrow we have a goodbye dinner for Gerry, so I'll be heading to that right after getting off work at 7. I know this isn't a sad occasion, but I'm really going to miss him being my boss.

So I hit Down To Earth & Whole Foods today. Got a bunch of potatoes, tofu, whole wheat pasta...all that good stuff. Planning on attempting a tofu scramble for lunch. I have quinoa in the rice cooker, planning on having that with a kale salad. I learned how much a love mint in my water! I got a new kickass glass water bottle from Whole Foods ($28.99) and I added lemon, cucumber slices, ginger juice and mint to my water. Yum!

I started a new book on my Kindle this morning. "The Hypnotist's Love Story" by Liane Moriarty. I read her book "The Husband's Secret" about a month ago and I really loved it! This book seems equally compelling, so that's something to look forward to while on the elliptical.

Updated my playlists a little. Still love some of the old workout standards. To this day, my list can pretty much stay at:

9. Blurred Lines - Robin Thicke (can't get enough of it, still)
10. Happy - Pharell Williams ( you knew that was coming!)

Of course, my workout playlist is a lot longer than this, but these are definitely the top blood-pumpers. Nothing at all like some tunes to get you moving.

Well, time to start cooking. Let's see how this goes!
