Snow can be so beautiful at times, when it's clean. It leaves everything looking...quiet? Peaceful? But then all the cars go by, and it just becomes...depressing. A tragedy in dour gray. If only things could remain pristine.

Still, I wish the flowers wouldn't wither. I miss their company. No, how childish. I am used to being alone.Alas. ( Read more... )

That is true. Looking forth knowing the outcome of what lies ahead, the passing time should bring optimism. If everything were to remain perfect, the world would resort to chaos.

But would there be chaos? If everything was perfect, beautiful, fitting into place, would there be reason for chaos? Though, I suppose, there would be nowhere to improve. Would life become dull? Duller?

Nothing can stay perfect forever. There is always factors including nature being surroundings as well as human that will throw the balance off. Perfection also leads to boredom. Without some kind of intervention with these factors, the world would wither and die, needless to say the same affect is caused by them as well given the combustive state of nature.

It is a never ending cycle.

Truly, it is the tragedy of our world. I suppose we, pushed so close to the idea of perfection as we are, would know this better than most? This grim reality of ours.

Yet, we must struggle on. Because otherwise, what good is living?

The closer you are to obtaining it, something always takes you a few steps back. That uncanny knack of fulfilling the so close but yet so far. It gives something to strive for, a goal to make life not as pointless as it appears to be. In the end, those factors of uncertainty makes it just that bit more appealing.

A wilted rose can still be preserved if captured at the correct time, boasting it's beauty. You just have to take what is given to you and do whatever possible to see that in your surroundings.
