Culinary Adventures: Part One

Mar 29, 2007 22:14

Since I hadn't planned a recipe ahead tonight, I just made something up off the top of my head. Actually, I hadn't even intended to cook tonight-- I almost stopped at Taco Bell on the way home. But it struck me that I needed to go to the grocery store and pick up milk, and somehow that turned into picking up quite a few staple items. Anyway.

Cut 'cause some people might get bored. )

don't let your friends drink and blog.... predigested March 30 2007, 02:34:52 UTC
This makes me think:

Are you a MexiCan or a MexiCan't? Shannon is a MexiCan!

And just the word Cumin makes me snorfle. I'm off to bed or something like it... Wiiiiii....

Hehehe-- Ash said exactly the same thing. :D

(*pssst*, have_inner_lady: Your man is silly when he drinks. Use this to your advantage. ^_^)

Count me in if you create another filter.

By the way, it sounds like you certainly can cook, even though you claim you can't. I know a lot of people who wouldn't be able to toss something together like that without strictly following a recipe.

Perhaps I should say "I can't cook as well as I'd like." Until steeltoe clued me in, I generally excluded salt from everything (except, for some reason, water I wanted to boil pasta in), I have no concept of how to use an onion, and I can be counted upon to dessicate any fish I lay hands on. I want to be better at it! :)
Oooh, I want to do stroganoff next... *gets distracted*

I want to be included under the cooking filter. I love to cook... just wish I placed more time for it. ;(

I have a problem with leaving time for cooking, too-- I'm hoping I'll be able to manage at least once a week!

That's a bizarro veggie combo.
Next time, try peppers, onions, maybe spinach.
Yum.

ANd I TOTALLY want to know about your cooking adventures! learning to cook is really fun. My hunny and I have a ton of easy, yummy recipes, and if you want them, i can start writing them down for ya.

Peppers and onions are both things I wanted to put in, but I didn't have any. :\ I got to choose between broccoli/cauliflower/carrots, peas/carrots, and broccoli/snap peas/red peppers.

Maybe I should start using Multiply's recipe trading features...
