I literally JUST finished this at the kinkmeme and I am ECSTATIC you've posted it so I can leave you some non-anon love. I would have left some there, but it was during the outages this past week and I was screaming at lj enough just to let me read the damn thing and stop crashing on me!

ohmygosh! poor Arthur, realizing how much he misses Merlin. doesn't know what he had till it's gone, poor guy! I think Merlin's responsible for the killings... I hope they figure out that he cast a spell on himself very soon and fix it right up! (:

Ohmigod, I ADORED this story in the kink meme comments, and am SO HAPPY to see it gathered here. I love your slow build, the interaction of the two dangerous magicians (Merlin being his own threat!), Arthur's discovery, his mistakes, and most of all, the knights and their friendships towards each other and Merlin specially.

I don't usually comment on livejournal fics for some stupid reason but this was just way too good to pass up. I love the way you're writing from Merlin's perspective with him almost remembering and thinking about magic but then it all gets shoved aside. And how he's starting to refer to Arthur and Gaius in his head as The Prince and The Physician. It's just completely brilliant!

I really really like this! And now to quickly continue reading more...! :D
