Ready?
The four who had shown us a performance overflowing with individuality in the Theatre Crea shows. We did this interview after their performances so we got to hear about their reflections!

There were a lot of things in May~ Firstly, the final show of “Takizawa Enbujou". Ahh my face became all scrunched up and teary and was so obviously crying (laughs). To be honest, I actually decided that I “definitely won’t cry". But then in the middle of the show (Watanabe) Shota read out the letter for Takizawa-kun, and while listening to that Noeru started sniffling. It was a really great carnival, and I also learned a lot from receiving a big role this time, Saburo in Yoshitsune (T/N: Thanks to
kananyan for the heads up!), so I became stronger mentally. One more thing is our Crea shows. Right now we haven’t done the Snow Man shows (this interview was done in the middle of May), but the shows with Yasui and the others were really fresh, and I learned just how fun it is to do a concert with us as the main performers. In this month, I have definitely grown quite a lot!

This year’s “Takizawa Enbujou" is really different from the other years. I was the top of the juniors, it’s my last year before I turn 20 (T/N: he said last of my 10s), and I also got a big role. I wouldn’t have liked it if people thought “no matter who does it, it’s a prominent role", so in the end I decided on being the “scary guy", and performed with all my might every show. After that was our Crea shows. I was worried because we (with Yasui and everyone) didn’t have much time for rehearsals, but the feedback was pretty okay, so I relaxed a little. I also have shows with Snow Man, so I took the chance to try out something a little different here. We came this far while watching the backs of ABC-Z, so we wanted to put out what we had learned from them. I still have a mountain of things I want to try out so it’d be awesome to get another chance like this.

For the Crea shows, I kept the attitude that “there are no other people except our fans", and did everything that came to mind… It felt like that. The oniichan-tachi (T/N: Myuto stop) spoiled me too. Even if I made a mistake anywhere, they let me get away with just a “ テヘペロ tehepero~" (T/N: laugh and stick out tongue basically) (laughs). Everyone’s kindness was just so overwhelming that I got so touched and cried during our shows on the second day. But even though the ages of the members this time are young, everyone has a long history of performance so we could do a lot of dance, and everyone played their characters/individuality properly, had a sense for comical relief so we did funny skirts too… I felt that these members have a lot, a lot of potential! If I had been the central one to think up our performance, I think we definitely wouldn’t have put up anything to the standard of what we did this time round. I am super thankful to these members who have given me the chance to try out so many new things!

Crea shows, these were fun~! I went all out as the comedian character in the MC and skit sections, but it’s the first time since I was born that I got to put out this character and talk on a stage. Initially I was nervous but everyone followed up nicely, and the audience also reacted well so I’m touched by that. I got told by the junior members who came to watch as well as the staff members that it was good, but since I’m not used to getting praised, I was stuck at coming up with a reaction (laughs). But really, performing onstage as the main act, it’s so fun that I might get addicted to it! With the members this time round, through the rehearsals and the final shows we got a lot closer as a team and had the feeling of “important friends/comrades", it would be great if we could snag a chance like this again in the future.
