chiisai_hime did the part on Hikaru's room already, so I decided to do his interview :D Stuff in round brackets are my notes and stuff in square brackets are stuff that he omitted/addition info :)

This is my first time translating, so please do tell me if I got anything wrong. Checked by kamenashi05 , thanks so much :DDD She helped me a lot with this.

I watch quite a bit of movie DVDs. It's like how people read before they sleep, I'll watch until I get really sleepy at night (T/N: he used giri giri here which means he's on the brink of falling asleep) and when I start feeling like I'm going to doze off, I press the stop button and fall asleep like that. This is bliss~ Of course, I'll continue watching it another day. Also, when I'm doing concert preparations or songwriting, after they're almost complete I often watch DVDs. Because I can receive/take various hints from images and stories [in the DVDs], ideas, melodies, phrases etc often come to my mind. For  example, after watching a sad scene in an episode, sad lyrics would appear in my head. For me, movie DVDs are the origin of creation [of ideas] . They are things that I cannot do without!

The works/DVDs I watch are mostly Hollywood action films. When you watch an intense action scene, it's refreshing and fun! ♪ Another reason why I like action films is that, you can enjoy it even if you don't pay attention to the storyline. Because it is easier to get disappointed and think "what a waste of money yo..." when the story of the movie you have been looking forward to watch is not that great after all, I tend to choose action films that are less overhyped. My favourite actor is Nicholas Cage. He has this exquisite and real slightly-cooler-than-average aura which I love. (laughs)
