I woke up Monday morning with my shoulder hurting. I figured I'd just slept on it wrong and I'd work it out through the day. Went to work and when I got off for the afternoon, I couldn't move my arm it hurt so bad. Got Justin to take me to the doctor who said my shoulder was frozen (again). Great. She gave me a shot to numb my shoulder so that she could give me a cortisone shot in my shoulder. It was not comfortable. Then she told me to take off work for two days and go get some bloodwork done at the hospital.

I turned in the note to my boss who, surprisingly, didn't kill me, and then got the bloodwork done at the hospital. Justin had work at the ass crack of dawn the next morning, so we went to bed at 7.30. At 9.30 I woke up because the pain was so bad I couldn't move my arm at all. Tried some Excedrin, didn't help. Tried some Demerol, didn't help. Finally drove myself to the hospital at 11.30 (in a stick shift with one arm). They gave me a shot of Toradol (it -hurt-) or something like that, xrayed me and said I was good, and sent me home. The meds worked enough that I was able to sleep. Tuesday I couldn't really move my arm but it wasn't constantly hurting. Today I have most of my movement back, but I can't support myself with that arm. Tomorrow I go back to work. I'm not looking forward to it.

In other news, in my arm-induced boredom, I've started playing Earth Eternal. It's a WoW-like MMO run by the same people that run Aetolia. It's cute, Heather's playing with me, but I don't know how long I'll play for. I imagine I'll get bored with it soon.
