I get by with a little help from my friends..?
This is entirely not the post I wanted to write. I wanted to write a happy post about National Novel Writing Month and encourage you all to join me. Instead, I have to ask you all a small favor that would mean everything to me.
Last night I found out that my student loans had been auto debited from my account even though I didn’t receive the second notice I was suppose to get and my forbearance had been denied because I didn’t fill out the second page of the form because AES had failed to include it in the envelope. Now, I can go to the bank and dispute the debit, but then I’m risking screwing up not only my credit, but my father’s. I can’t even really blame AES because I had consented to the direct debit, but since I was in the middle of applying for forbearance and I hadn’t received the second and official notice, I thought that the debit wouldn’t happen. It was just a bad thing at a bad time.
Right now I effectively have $1 in my bank account. Thankfully I didn’t overdraft, but I have a real problem: I have to pay my credit card on the fifteenth, and I don’t get paid by either kgb_ or my job at the symphony until the 16th and the 17th. Additionally, I need to do laundry like yesterday, and as many of you know, it costs me $3 to do a single load of laundry.
So what I’m asking is this. If you can, donate to my Paypal. Donations of $0.01 - $5 will get you a Tarot reading. $5+ will get you a Tarot reading and a handmade scarf in the color or colors of your choice. I’m also asking that you don’t donate more than $10 because I would feel bad since I have so little to offer in return right now.
I only need about $40 to get through the next two weeks, and I feel like hell asking for help, but I’m aware of the fact that there’s not much else I can do at the moment. I’m trying to be responsible and not screw up my credit either through being late on my credit card payment or missing a student loan payment, but that’s leaving me financially in the hole.
