Not too much going on, so a meme for you all.
1. Of all the bands/artists in your cd/record collection, which one do you own the most albums by?: The Smiths for sure. 23 albums. Radiohead’s gotta be close, though.
2. What was the last song you listened to?: Morrissey - “This is How People Grow Up”. I am vapidly in love with his new album, “Years of Refusal”.
3. What’s in your record player right now?: Well, see, here’s the thing. I haven’t got a record player, and I also don’t leave tapes or CDs in any of their respective player. So unless I was currently listening to something, you can probably guess that the answer is ‘nothing’.
4. What song would you say sums you up?: At the moment? Hum. Maybe “Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want”.
5. What’s your favorite local band?: Besides
my own band, I honestly don’t listen to local music. However. If you can still count The Clarks as local, then them.
6. What was the last show you attended?: Aside from the shows I’ve played? Rasputina.
7. What was the greatest show you’ve ever been to?: That’s a really tough question. I haven’t been to too many shows, but I think I’m gonna have to say AFI.
8. What’s the worst band you’ve ever seen in concert?: Despite the fact that I don’t like them, HIM. Even if I liked their music, their set at Projekt Revolution was SOOO boring I might as well have just been listening to the album.
9. What band do you love musically but hate the members of?: Honestly, I don’t follow the members of any band close enough to really hate them. But Nik is right. Peter Murphy is a prick. That guy from Placebo is supposed to be a total jackoff too.
10. What is the most musically involved you have ever been?: My whole life.
11. What show are you looking forward to?: MOZ ON THE 17 of MARCH. Also, all the shows I’ll be playing on tour. That should be too awesome.
12. What is your favorite band t-shirt?: You know what, I wear almost none of them anymore, but I think my white AFI shirt is probably my favorite even though I’ve only worn it once or twice.
13. What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?: Voltaire, I think. But I would probably not be able to say anything to him, even though he seems like a really cool, relaxed guy.
14. What musician would you like to be in love with you for a day?: In love? With me? Shiiot. Emilie Autumn, she’s hot. Man, she’s a fox.
15. Metal question-Jeans and Leather vs. Cracker Jack clothes?: I...don’t...like...loudness... And I also have no idea what that means.
16. Sabbath or solo Ozzy?: Sabbath.
17. Commodores or solo Lionel Ritchie?: Eermm...
18. Punk rock, hip hop or heavy metal?: None of the above?
19. Doesn’t Primus suck?: No, you heinous douche, they’re awesome.
20. Name 5 flawless albums:
1. “Years of Refusal” by Morrissey
2. “Louder than Bombs” by The Smiths
3. “Funeral” by Arcade Fire
4. “OK Computer” by Radiohead
5. “Narrow Stairs” by Death Cab for Cutie
21. What was the greatest decade for music?: The 80s. Even the shitty music was fun to listen to.
22. How many music-related videos/dvds do you own?: Aside from musicals, none. And I only have two or three musicals.
23. What is your favorite movie soundtrack?: Nerd me out, but The Lord of the Rings. That is some powerful stuff.
24. What was your last musical “phase” before you wisened up?: I never really had musical phases. I always listened to a bizarre mix of everything, thanks to my folks. I mean, man, I’ve listened to some shitty music, but I still enjoy that shitty music to this day, if just for nostalgia’s sake.
25. What’s the crappiest CD/record/etc. you’ve ever bought?: I never really bought music. I either got it from friends, family, or, well, piracy. But what’s the crappiest album I’ve ever possessed? Probably the Guitar Hero 3 soundtrack. XD
26. Do you prefer vinyl or CDs?: TAPES!
