Anna did not want to die. She had never much been one for the favorable thought of her own demise, but only now that the possibility of it was very truly upon her did she understand how unpleasantly she really felt about it. Writing is work/fun. It helps if you have an idea of: a. what the story's about (or who it's about),b. what you want to say with it, c. and how you want it to end. Think of the stories that mean something to you, and then take a look at them to see how they're constructed.
This probably hasn't helped at all..*g* Good luck!

Yeah, I used to write a lot more; I'd churn out chapters by the day.

Though I always tried to not figure out my ending until I actually got to that point; it made things much more exciting.

I've just hit a spot where all of my ideas are good but dead ends or are not so good but I could go on with forever. Go figure.
