This Stupidness gets me all riled. I was bitching about it to
shadowsilt and being all like "It's just a new platform that can teach you just as much! I remember VII was the first thing to really introduce me to ideas about corporate control and class and the dangers of overconsumption and yadda yadda" and he was all "well you're probably the exception to the rule."
WHICH I AM SURE IS NOT TRUE.
Then there's the fact that I'm sure that video games teach us a whole bunch of stuff latently that someone smarter than me will one day make a list of.
I don't see why books are not a "couch potato" hobby! Visual orientation towards stories should not = lesser!
Well, whatever. Things'll change some day, then we'll see who is laughing last! (Hint: It will be me.)
