I just want to pose a question here.
If I told you that this was Tetsuya Nomura's design for one of the antagonists in FFXIII, would you believe me?
I spent all of five minutes watching a music station and I am unduly fascinated with what I saw. Especially with this woman.
Seriously, look at this. I watched this video and I was gobsmacked, for once not by the level of sexualization, but because somebody's Sephiroth Clone Mary Sue ran away and is now singing pop songs in a catsuit.
A mysterious stranger rose from within the evil empire and now acts as chancellor/General, Lady Gaga's plans are unknown, but seem almost certainly sinister. Her true identity is unknown - what's under that mask is a mystery, but she does appear to be crystalizing slowly, so we can expect magic is heavily involved in her difficult past.
The heroic Beyonce has a history with the evil empire! Her father was a high ranking official, and when he tried to leave, she got caught in the battle between them. Her father was killed and she lost her arm trying to get away. They fitted her with new cybernetic technology and trained her as a super soldier, but a few years later she escaped. Now, as she treks on towards revenge, she is forced to wonder whether or not the chemical experimentation used to get her to take to the arm has altered who she is.
An innocent young girl shrouded in mystery and carrying a very important piece of jewelry (or, I guess, leather wrist straps), Pink meets the party purely by chance. She appears to be suffering from amnesia and doesn't know where she came from. The party doesn't think much of it, even though she can turn into a dragon or some shit in the middle of combat. She seems to have some connection to Lady Gaga.
Britney in an incorrigible (and slightly psychotic) thief with a unhealthy fixaction on Pink. She spends most of the game trying to kidnap her (or at least steal her special wristbands), but also proves an unexpected ally when it comes to escaping the clutches of Lady Gaga. Britney officially joins the party halfway through the game, but her motives remain unknown for much longer, and she seems prone to periods of sudden absence from the party.
Ugh, maybe I'll come back to this with some guys when they start dressing similarly ridiculously.
