So I've been replaying KH2 and...
... I remember thinking the exact same thing the first time around, but... I actually think Kingdom Hearts gives the FF7 cast a lot more depth than Advent Children did, particularly where the Cloud/Sephiroth is concerned. I mean, sure, it's all just sparkles and hairflips and DARKNESS and LIGHT, but I mean... if you're going to do something with sparkles and hairflips, you might as well stick Mickey Mouse in and add the option to beat the everliving shit out of your favourite characters with a giant key. It does a lot to remove pretense, I feel!
That said, I'm getting tired of FF7 characters in KH. I know the next one is going to be for PSP and I'll probably be buying it because the games are fun, but I mean... Can we please have some more representation? There are other games, you know. If Dissidia is any indication, Square plans to actually pay them some mind, but I haven't seen or heard anything about confirmed new characters in the new KH.
My fingers are crossed for a miniboss Delita and for Larsa. Ideally, Larsa will be hangin' out with Vivi and they'll just be all chill and whatnot, until you get into a party with them and Larsa is your bitchin' healer and Vivi is your bitchin' mage and everything dies before you can even run up to it.
.. Um, but yeah, failing that I'd just like a chocobo minigame.
