seriously? Her ignorant attitudes towards addiction, her pathologizing of stay at home mothers, her snotty and willfull ignorance of electoral politics and her hard-on for capitalism? There's plenty of good reasons that she's one of the more consistently frustrating feminists. I'm not sure I would have banned her for that particular exchange. I'd have banned her because I'm having a bad week and she bugs me, but that's why I'm not a moderator.

I think "hard-on for capitalism" is definitely my favourite, but I have no idea where any of these things came from other than ignorant attitudes towards addiction (read: expecting the addict to take some responsibility).
