I've been trying to work out how to reply to this for a while because it's such a lovely comment and it means so much. You're the first person to give me feedback on the story in its entirety and I'm so glad the end works because I was terrified it wouldn't, and yes, ouch, I know it gets a bit close in places so I don't blame you for taking a break, I cried in a few places while writing this and I hardly ever cry while writing stories. Ugh.

I'm glad it read alright because I only had vague ideas of where it was going (like, in my brain I just had things like AND THEY TRY TO HAVE SEX AND IT'S AWFUL and so forth) and initially it was meant to be crackier than this so I'm really glad you enjoyed it. And yay for you liking Caleb, because he is my favourite and stuff ;)

Basically, I don't even know, I'm just glad you liked it and I wish I was sorry it made you cry ;) and thank you, thank you, thank you.

Oh god. This is beautiful and heartbreaking and sad but they Try So Hard and I want them to be happy.

Thank you so much sweetie! I want the real Caleb to be my best friend, he's amazing, there are all these youtube videos of him playing the guitar at one a.m. wasted and it's just the best ever.

Seriously, this is just. I mean. They way that you fucking get into their heads and god, I spent half this fic nearly yelling at the computer screen, begging these two to get their act together and just BE HAPPY but gods, you. YOUUUUU. I'm reading along, dum da dum, and then you subtly hit me with an obscenely poignant phrase or turn that makes my heart break. SO DAMN WONDERFUL, DARLING. *clap clap clap*
