random thoughts
hello there! i know i havent blogged in ages but every time i get the urge to blog i just feel like there are 1001 things to write about: people i've met, things i've seen, new food i've eaten, etc. overwhelmed with so many things to write, i end up writing..nothing haha.
anyway here are some random thoughts and things i've done in the last few weeks! for more photos, pls see my fb. i've also been updating my photoblog occasionally.
(i regret not writing more detailed accounts about everything that i've experienced here, especially now that i can count the number of days i have left in korea on my fingers and toes, but at least i've taken LOADS of memory-laden photos!)
summary of the last few weeks
1. went snowboading for the first time (very painful, very fun)
2. travelled to chuncheon (to eat dakgalbi)
3. travelled to jeonju (to eat bibimbap)
4. crocheted a hat (with alot of help from the knitting shop ahjumma)
5. wore boots almost everyday
6. ate alot alot of good korean food
7. saw a singing/drunk AM on the subway
8. went ice-skating in the same rink used by kim yuna!
(ok i exaggerate but it was built for her use)
9. went for lee seunggi's concert!
10. saw korea's REAL first snowfall
11. visited a (student) art exhibition
12. sat at a cafe drinking hot choco & pretending to do work
13. took many many photos of red/yellow/orange leaves
yup that covers most of it. maybe one day i should do a post decided just to food in korea - it's that good!
it's funny experience to encounter tourists from your own country in a foreign land when you no longer feel like a tourist. singaporean tourists are arriving by the bus-load. somehow that feels very -.-
ok i'd better get back to working on my media term paper + presentation which is due on wed! it's so hard to get myself to do work after i've spent a whole term slacking away. wonder how i will adjust back next term. haha
(also, i can't wait for secret garden episode 7!! hyun bin is just so....amazing, as usual)
