-I love Carnivale. It is a truely fantastic show. Of course I am in agony right now over only having 3 episodes left especially since I should be looking forward to another four seasons at this point. I don't understand why they canceled this thing. Okay, okay, yeah, I know why it was canceled but wwwwwhhhhhyyyyy? I mean. Oh my god. Just. No. >_< If you're looking for another show I absolutely cannot recommend this beast enough. It's a fantastic ensemble with an intriguing mystery-like plot. The costumes are dirty and worn, the people are dirty and worn, the locales are dirty and worn. It just looks freaking real. And it's also one of those few shows that shows women and male/female interactions more along the lines of reality than the stereotypes most shows struggle with. Also? Middle-aged people who reaaaallly want to do each other. And, oh, god, Amy Madigan. I don't know what's wrong with that woman. She can't dress herself at all but she's so so lovely in this show. And CRAZED. I heart her bad. I think Justin is my favorite character but Iris is just so pretty.
