it's double-sided

The sub-standard girl that works with me got fired today, like, while I was on lunch. Which is good, because it got to the point where she was screwing up so much that I was doing damage control as much as doing my actual job. It was a gong show today, with random people showing up for appointments that didn’t exist and people vowing to never come to our clinic again. I felt bad for her though, because she thought things were getting better, but it was just that our boss had decided to give up on her and stopped critiquing her performance. Why get mad at someone you’re just going to fire the next day, right? Anyway, she’s gone, and we can all get on with our lives. And in my case, work extra hours to pick up her slack. Moving at the end of the month is going to be an afterthought.

In fanfiction news, I realized today that anything I post (I’m currently working on two separate pieces) will be post-finale. When did that happen? I can’t believe it’s the end of the season already. I’m happy about that because I won’t have to worry about anything I write going AU until September. But also sad, because there will be no new episodes until September. Meep. Although, I’m so behind on reading and reviewing all the great fic lately; at least I’ll have plenty of time to catch up.

Also? Jenna Fischer? Could I be more worried about her fractured back? I don’t think so. Ladies, use caution when looking fabulous. Please. I’m going to be awake all night worrying about her. *wrings hands*
