If the Republican Party believes that the supporters of Hillary Clinton will now back the Republican presidential candidate simply because there is now a female running on the ticket, they have seriously misunderstood why we chose Senator Clinton to begin with. It had nothing to do with her gender and everything to do with her political views, experience, and leadership ability. Governor Palin is still a Republican whose views are contrary to most of mine. Worse, she is clearly unprepared to be second in command of this country. I will vote for the candidate who best represents my views, and now that person is Barack Obama.
