"What do I care now that black night has seized me?"
Adam called last night saying this show at the Caledonia was about to get crazy, so despite being tired as hell, I rushed over. There was only one guitarist and one drummer on stage, but they were enough. First of all, it was the best use of double base pedal I've ever heard in my life. More than just speed, his precision was perfect for the full fourty minutes. He was a one man drumline.
The guitarist... even more insane. The whole set consisted of one long fourty minute guitar solo, ranging all over the fret board, as fast or faster than it is humanly possible to play. I'm surprised his hands didn't burst into flame. It rocked! After it was over, you'd look at the guitar, in awe, wondering how that instrument could ever be silent. It's as if he had woken it up, ripped the living devil from it, and put it back to sleep.
Anyway, SIDS show tomorrow.
