(no subject)
This week was really nice and then turned really shitty all of the sudden.
I got As on all my midterms, the trees on my street are turning resplendent, and I got a raise at work.
Then my laptop dies and I lose 109 gigs of music, the drafts for my college essays (I had hard copies printed, but still), and a lot of photos (remind me why I ever shoot digital?)
Last night I went to see one of my favorite bands and it sold out an hour before the doors opened. Because of this, Sam and I decided to go to our favorite taco stand and get dinner around 1am. I've never been to this taco stand earlier than 11pm, so it was much to my surprise that I'm standing there with a full belly and a big smile on my face and three guys jump out and mug me at knifepoint. Luckily, all they got was my iPhone and about 12 bucks (a $300 cell phone I will now have to pay full price to replace). I was at the police station with scrapes on my arms and back and tears making my face red and sticky and got the old "we'll keep an eye out for him".
So that picture is basically how I've felt the last 4 days.
