working at the thai restaurant lately has been tiring yet fulfilling. all my coworkers are great sans the owner's cousin who speaks so little english that it seems like she hates everyone who does. and ze food is yum. and the pay is keeping me from whoring myself out. working makes me feel greasy.
my body has been a little achy this past month from derby stupidness. not that derby is stupid, just my penchant for falling down on my knees or ass every 14 seconds. i am getting faster and better though. i think. and i think that i am becoming more of a regular member rather than one of those tuscaloosa girls that we see every couple of weeks because we never make the same practices kind of derby girl. the derby benefit this friday rocked ass. ellen and i perfected the "have you bought a derby girl a drink? well meet my friend ellen (lizzie) who needs one" spiel. trying to get a picture on the cop's motorcycle outside the bar was not the best idea, but lizzie's love for the beer cannot be damaged. drinking makes me feel gassy.
