Oh man. Just came back from dinner with Vic and had my first dessert soufflé: chocolate soufflé with the ooey gooey middle. haaa-aaa--aaaaa--- *shivers* I am gonna learn how to make it and then invite you all for a taste. Right now my next culinary conquest will be the fondue. Only thing is that this is Hawaii and hot cheese pots and food picks don't particularly resonate into the food culture. Where there is a will there's a way... Julia Child-motivated. I've had a revelation from this experience tonight though. The man I decide to share my life with must love dessert, so much so that he will insist that we order our own desserts. So much so that dinner won't be dinner anymore, it will be just dessert. I was observing a couple on a date at the table next to us. When the dessert tray came by the guy jumped on the tiramisu, had to restrain myself from leaning over to the girl and whispering: "He's a keeper." Ha-HA!
UH starts again tomorrow. It feels weird not to be stressing over schedules or book costs. I drove by today and felt a pang of nostalgia. Then I noticed the students walking around and was struck by how young they look. I realized that we've been there done that. Got everything we could out of the experience. Now it is time to move on....though it sucks that they decided to put in a Jamba juice, Bale Sandwich, and Korean restaurant into the food court on campus after we've graduated...conspiracies...
