You might be familiar with a movie called The Day After -- a little end-of-the-world scenario that involves the nuking of Lawrence, Kansas.

That was a little too much of a coincidence for me to leave it alone. I've had this story in process for quite a while, and I'm glad to finally be able to offer it to you.
