[Yup, she definitely doesn't recognize you, and though she's grateful for the information, she looks a touch confused.]

Somarium... [Wait.] No, there has to be a way back! It's important; I can't stay here!

[Another pause. She sighs.] Sorry for all the questions. But, what do you mean, 'welcome back?'

As important as it may be, darling, you're stuck. We've all got important things to do, and they've all been put on hold for the time being.

You've been here before. It's about a 50% chance you remember it, so I'm honestly not that shocked you don't. Suffice to say, some people might recognise you.

[papahunter]

[Maka's frowning, though more in puzzled concentration than anything.] How could I have been here before and not remember? There aren't any gaping holes in my life that I can think of.

[Oh hey, he recognizes you... But judging from what she was saying she left and came back. Oh well? The meister thing catches his attention though... Kid talked about them and weapons from his world. Kinda wondering if she's from the same place]

[A sigh.] Yeah, that's what I've heard.

No way out willingly, huh? So... has anyone actually been able to leave before?

Yeah, people come and go all the time. It's the fact that you never know when or how it happens in the first place that annoys everyone.

They come and go, just like that? Hmm. I guess I can see why you all seem so used to it.

[Pause.] Um... sorry if I met you before, or something, and then forgot about it. Apparently I've been here, though I'm not sure I believe that yet.

We're in a dream world called Somarium, Maka.

[Double-take. Wait, is that--]

[The Meister nods her head.] I heard that from a few other people already. I don't think I understand it, though... how could we be in a dream world?

To be honest, I'm not sure myself. There's very little known about this world, and what information we do have doesn't give us much to work with.

[papahunter]

[You can be that she's going to go digging through nearby information sources anyway.] Perfect...

[There's a brief silence.] Hey, Kid... is this line, uh... secure?

[Well, it looks like Maka's fine. Beat had been somewhat worried when she had left but he knew very well that she could take care of herself.]

[Someone else she knew from before...? She tries not to seem too puzzled at the recognition.]

Hey, um... sorry, but I don't remember being here before.

[And offers and apologetic look.]

[A bit of a shrug.]

Yeah, sucks that ya don't. But don't sweat it, yo. Bet you got lotsa people willin' to bring ya up to speed 'bout things.

[Beat will not be deterred by simple obstacles!]

[He sure got over that fast. For this, the meister smiles a bit.]

Yeah, I know! Everyone I've talked to so far's been really friendly.
