you don't want no drama... no no drama no no no drama...

Reason #253 that you should pray for my soul this Easter: Tonight, at a Maundy Thursday service (w/potluck dinner), I was with my church choir to sing a non-traditional setting of "Were you there when they crucified my lord?" During the potluck dinner, someone randomly said "Were you there?" My reply: "Yes, and Magdalene looked good."

I've not really watched American Idol this season. However, I have been reading a lot about the whole Sanjaya controversy. Lots of people are pissed that he's made it this far. Others (like those at votefortheworst.com) are simply eating this up! I don't really feel entrenched in either camp, because over the years, I've noticed that AI is a real sham. Any show which lets a talent like Jennifer Hudson or Chris Daughtry fall by the wayside too soon is a definite sham, to me. Thus, I won't be hurt if the show collapses as a result of a Sanjaya win. (Honestly, I think the producers are going to invoke some loophole to prevent him from winning, anyway.) Until then, I give you a link to a hilarous website where you can fill in the blank to this statement: "If Sanjaya wins, I will ______."

A few years ago, I saw Alanis Morisette in concert. I wasn't that won over by her, but I think the following parody just cemented my love. Enjoy!
