I haven't been posting or commenting to many posts lately. I'm just totally swamped with a lot of stuff that I didn't really expect. I won't bore you with any details except to say that one thing leads to another and before one realizes it, one is behind schedule and Mother Nature takes the advantage ( Read more... )

Oh, my! How I'm looking forward to the time off!!!! It'll take another 4 to 5 weeks to catch up, though.

As you can see from my recent photos, I do take the time to observe and record events I enjoy. I have a vacation (holiday) planned for October when I will take photos of wildlife in the Pocono Mountains. I know where there are bald eagles, red hawks, heron, bears and puma, etc. out in the backwoods. The autumn is a good time to catch wildlife preparing for the winter season. At night I wi.ll use my telescope to photograph galaxies, nebulae and other objects in the darkest skies I know of within 200 miles of my home.
