Contact with the neighbours

We live on the 5th floor and out internal courtyard has balcony that rounds all the way round it. Every day a tiny grey Hungarian woman does circuits around it. When I come out for a cigarette, she stops doing circuits and doubles back before she reaches me. I was offended for a while, until she finally came round and explained that she's is short-sighted and can't afford glasses. She just sees a scary shape and turns back. Poor wee woman.

However, I'm now considering hiding behind the plant pots and looming up scarily at the last minute as she comes round. Maybe that would stop her from peering in our windows!
