My first day at the new job was okay. The second day made me want to kill myself. The third day made me want to join the rambling bums on the street and spend the rest of my days as a soap box prophet

You can handle this. It's a huge adjustment and it's going to take some time and maybe things will shift a bit. You'll settle into work and start being yourself more and more.
