Keanu Reeve's Woah v.s Joey Lawrence's Woah
Here's where I go back to saying I'm going to post more often and whatnot :).
I think LiveJournal is still my favorite of all my daily web rounds. MySpace is interesting but half the time it's a hassle because I've been in the Flaming Lips' top friends for four months and I get a lot of random friend requests and band requests. The sad thing is I check em all out and I like a few, thus my bulletins page gets spammed with concert dates and then I have to delete them like an asshole. Phoo...
...Facebook is sorta the same way sometimes, except it's the added applications that complicate things. So now I'm a ninja and a pirate AND a zombie, yet the only thing I really enjoy is the Oregon Trail application :)))). I've already beat it; apparently it just starts over after that and gets harder. At least I never got dysentery!
Speaking of the Oregon Trail, Trey and I almost followed the Oregon Trail route to get the Washington (P.S. I'm living here now, I wasn't sure if I ever made that clear or not). The drive was pretty smooth, considering the crazy effin' weather we drove through, but it took four days instead of three because we got stuck on I-84 in Idaho for FOUR HOURS because the wind whipped four semis over. We got to check out the Olympic mountains our first week here. In fact I can see them from my front porch.
I like it, but I do really miss my family and friends... and Mr. Matthew. But, for now, I think this is the right place to be. I'm still waiting for the freight to arrive with my stuff, so I damn sure hope it gets here today like they said.
I'll tell you more about Washington life later. I got my first job interview lined up for tomorrow and I gotta prep. It's with a company that produces training videos for firemen and other servicemen, and I'm interviewing to extract information from instruction manuals and write them into scripts for these videos. It sounds like a pretty neat job. Plus heath,dental, 401-K matching, and paid vacation = Awesometown.
