Well its my own fault.
I have decided that its time to go on a diet and get some exercise.
The exercise bit is fairly easy, we (the bride and I) have an allotment and its not going to dig itself.
The diet bit is a tad harder, basically I just don't do being hungry very well and usually end up somewhat ratty which is no fun for anyone around me. So I tend to pick and just eat rubbish.
Also although we have some scales, they are from one point of view perfect for dieters who are not too serious, but from the other point of view are not at all usefull. They are be whatever weight you want scales!
Seriously these scales are dependant on how you are standing and the direction of any lean give different results.
So at the moment I have no clue as to how much I really weigh.
So for losing weight, I think we will really go for losing mass, particularly in the girth of my waist, this being measured by the number of notches that I manage to tighten my belt.
So if anyone sees me near the vending machine at work - kick my arse
