The Taste Of Chicago
My brother and I went to The Taste of Chicago yesterday. I took the train from the Hammond South Shore Station to Randolf. There I met up with my brother. I was starving so I had me some pizza, YUMMY! Then I had me some goat with spicy rice, that was pretty great. Then we met up with my brother's co-worker and her cousin, Yummy! I mean... J~, I went to the Cafe Tacuba concert with her and my brother last month and well the Cousin E~ Yummy! I mean ...he was nice, likes to kid around a lot but I think he was great. I'm glad I met him. He's a couple years younger than me and he's lived in Chi his whole life from what I understand. Here's the thing SAME LAST NAME!! So could you imagine, I wouldn't have to change my name! AWSOME! He's dark, taller than I am and Mexican what more could you want!
Ok, I'm done dreaming.
Anyway, once we met up with them we went walking around for some more food. We also were able to stand in a field of people (so crowded) and listen to Santana y Los Lobos. It was great! Before the concert was over, my brother and J~ went to go get some more food, so they left E~ and I at the concert listening to the rest of the music. By this time the sun went down so I was standing pretty close to him trying to keep warm. Well the concert finished and my brother and J~ had not returned yet so we called them and they told us to meet up over by one of the entrances. So we walked over and waited. He sat on the bridge brick fence while I ate my chocolate covered strawberry (I wanted to share but he's not a chocolate fan.) After I was done, I sat on the bottom ledge because I was getting nervous watching him sit on the brick fence. So then, He decided to join me *insert big cheese here* So I scooted up really close to him because like I was still cold. Then he started shivering jokingly saying I was taking all his heat so I scooted over and then he was like now Im cold, I was like oh god who understands you! LOL So then he scooted in close to me. We chatted there for a bit and then finally my brother and J~ caught up with us. They had food so we ate again! I had a polish sausage and some cheesecake on a stick. It was nuuuummmy!
Ok so then, we all took the train back home together. On the way we stood like in between the train cars near a vent and where a window could be opened. It was pretty cool. J~ and I got burned the most from the sun and she even burned more than me. My brother and E~ just burned their noses, cause boy they are dark like a Taliban man (no offense).
So, I was showing J~ the jewelry that I got from the jewelry party that I spent too much on and she was showing me her bracelet. She then went on to explain that she makes her own jewelry. I was like ALRIGHT, I know where to go get my jewelry from now on! Now she tells me, after I spent more than 75 dollars at this jewelry party, argh! SO then she takes it off and gives me the bracelet she was wearing! AW, she's like so nice! I love her! She officially made me her friend, she said it was a friendship bracelet. Its very pretty it goes with all my silver jewelry and it has this pretty little butterfly on it.
Ok so we are taking the train home and we are chit chatting J~'s telling me about E~ and E~'s like ready for a nap. They were supposed to go to a party afterward. One of J~ cousins is goin to be deployed. They invited me but I was suffering from I dont know I think heat exhaustion. I dont know if that's what its called but I felt like I needed a gallon of water! I've had enough Vitamin D from the sun to last me a life time but I had a blast! It was fun. I hope I get to hang out with J~ again, oh and E~ too ;) Oh wait and my brother too!!
