Im officially part of canada's werk force. I scan and archive seismic data maps! Its not the most interesting or fun job ever, but it pays 9 an hour and after 3 weeks I get a raise to 10 and full benefits. The best part of the job is the environment. Its so laid back, I can come in when I like, so I chose 9am, though they said even 10am is fine. I can miss a day and come in on the weekend, or just not come in at all. They gave me office keys so I can stay late, or all night or whatever I want. I can look anyway I want, on fridays we drink beer for half the day. I was half in the bag by 2pm on friday :)

So, Im pretty happy and way less stressed about money, and Im even looking at the future with a more positive shine. Once I get caught up on missed rent, Ill have money to put away for touring and more music gear. My monthly expenses are next to nothing so I should see some progress very fast. Im also still doing graphics work on the side so thats going straight to gear and computer upgrades... weeeeeeee!

By the end of this summer I want to have a Nord Modular G2, a decent mixer, Studio monitors, 10 in 10 out audio interface, Micro Korg, Drum Kit, Bass and Guitar and a few amplifiers ohh and a decent mic. For now though, Ill be happy with groceries and some new clothes :)

Music side, things are going ok, the subsektor album is nearly done. Data.Disk0 is going well too, Mark and I have a show on the 22nd, its a short ambient set. Should be easy to pull off. Im still in a bit of a creative slump but I think as soon as Im eating right again Ill be back into it.

Thats it for now, must finish getting ready for werk kamp now.
