Stuff and things
Doing ok these days, i think. Have work on my plate which is nice, though Ive mostly been uninspired to do much else than mope around playing video games. My friend and associate Jarred, is getting me to design and build a site for his new company. For a deposit, he has given me an Athlon 2100 cpu, 512 mb ddr ram and a geforce4 video card + a bit of extra cash. So at some point ill be buying a new motherboard and case, maybe some decent cooling fans, wouldnt mind a dvd player or player/burner. Havent started this yet.
Still trying to come up with stuff for Ogenix, Im about a month behind on progress, seems whenever i try to work on it something goes wrong, ive experienced 2 power outages while working on the design. And now flash will not handle my original plan with slidey bits, no amount of file size tweaking has solved the problem, So im a bit put off by it. Funny I always used to bitch about doing nothing but corporate sites, yet when I finally get my hands on a band site to do I cant pull it together. Ill keep plugging at it.
Havent touched my own stuff in months, my portfolio redesign is collecting dust in a corner of my hard drive, music has been going nowhere, even with a sweet sweet software upgrade I recieved for my B-Day, thanks Squids, Robotics_girl for that.
Had a job interview at a pharmacy for a stock clerk position. I kinda screwed up in the french part of the interview, when asked if i could speak french I probably said some thing like, "yes, I can close the window with a cat or a frog fluently" lol, doom :(
Lost my wallet, finally got a new bank card yesterday, now its happy funtime with finding out how to get my sin number replaced. My Ontario health and Alberta learners permit cards were expired so no big loss, however I no longer have photo ID. Good thing I live in quebec where the legal age for smoking and drinking is mearly a suggestion.
Thats it for now I think. Need to get some work done or at least attempted for the day.
