Happy 4th Friends!!!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful 4th of July / day off cuz I know I am! This weekend was another one for the books, damn I love my life sometimes!
Friday night Jason and I went up to his aunt's "cottage", which was more like an amazing house on lake Mitchell. We drank and bit, J was passing out on the kitchen table after too much morgan, while I chatted away with his fam, it was a good time. We woke up early Saturday and layed around for a bit before going drunken pontooning and jetskiing. I got too much sun, but it's already turning into a tan so f-it, it felt glorious!
Saturday I didn't do much, but I started reading Nicholas Sparks "The Wedding", and I already was getting teary-eyed. Damn that man, whom is straight might I add, can write like no other!
Sat. night I went down to Fowler to meet up with Jason, Doug and Kendall. I arrived and Jason was bailing hay, so I chatted with his mom and grandma for awhile. We then drove out to Lauren H's house for a bonfire. I got a little tipsy and was dancing around the fire like a crazy woman annoying the shit of Doug, it was quite hilarious. I kept insisting he needed to let out the lover inside him... hehe. Lauren's rents made us breakfast which rocked my world, then we headed back to Fowler. Jason and I layed around for a bit (since we only got 5 hours of sleep), then he took me out on their 4-wheeler and showed me all the farm things. I was amused. They have kittens and calves, what more can a girl want!?
alas, tomorrow starts another work week. blah. i'm actually getting pumped for school to start, is that wrong or what!?
