NAME: Kainé
AGE: 17
CANON: Nier (Gestalt, though I am willing to talk it over with potential castmates!)
HEIGHT: 172 cm / almost 5'8" (plus a couple more inches in heels!!)
WEIGHT: a lady never tells.
APPEARANCE: White-haired girl with dark purple eyes and not wearing very much at all! Tall, curvy, and leggy. Her left arm and leg are always bandaged since the flesh under there looks kinda like these guys - that is, swirling, pulsing black and yellow creepiness. I doubt this will come up, though, but you never know!
ABILITIES: Swordsmanship (dual-wielding), super strength from being a Thor resident. She's also pretty fucking fast (not inhumanly so) and tends to jump and flip around a lot. Her fighting style is pretty wild, utilizes her swords just as much as her powerful kicks, and focuses more on the offensive since being half-Shade gave her high endurance and quick healing - but with those gone in Asgard she's a liiiittle less reckless. She's bound to occasionally forget and slip up in the heat of battle though!

INJURING/MAIMING: She's in Thor, she ain't dainty. Bring it! She will retaliate, as she is something of a seasoned fighter herself.
KILLING: I'm down, but of course I'd hope that that we discuss this first.
HUGGING, KISSING, ETC.: Depends on who's doing it! Reactions may range from embarrassed shock to punches/kicks. If she likes you enough, she might even awkwardly attempt to return the favor. If you're willing to risk experiencing bodily harm anyway, go for it.
MINDREADING: It's a dark, scary place in there; Kainé has A LOT of issues and was possessed by a bloodthirsty lunatic before arriving in Asgard. Please, please, please give me a heads-up before doing this! I'm not too averse to the idea but player communication would be vital here. I'm okay with telepaths picking up on Kainé being half Shade, though!
WARNINGS: Kainé is... quite the character. She cusses like a sailor and is rather behaviorally unstable (by which i mean prone to VIOLENCE and YELLING!!!). She seems aloof and cold much of the time, but she can snap at the smallest provocation and literally gets off on fighting. She's not possessed by a psychopath anymore, but their minds were linked for so long that she's still somewhat affected by his cray cray. In short, she may not be the safest person to be around sometimes (though non-combatants and small children should be fine???).
BACKGROUND NOTES: Kainé has lived a pretty hard life. After her parents died when she was very young, she was taken in by her grandmother, Kali, who was loving and accepting as she was foul-mouthed and ill-tempered. It is also heavily implied that Kali was also somewhat mentally unstable, but she was a good guardian to her granddaughter nonetheless. Born intersex in a village of paranoid xenophobes, Kainé was seen as a curse and a freak. She was often tormented and physically assaulted by the village children and shunned or badmouthed by the other villagers. She was both hated and feared by nearly everyone save for her grandmother. Unfortunately, Kali was brutally killed by a huge Shade that crushed and nearly killed Kainé. A sentient Shade named Tyrann used the opportunity to try and take over Kainé's dying body, intending to use it to murder and feel blood on his skin again. She managed to fight off most of his influence and instead of dying became possessed by him, sharing his thoughts and feelings and becoming affected by his crazy bloodlust. They made a deal: Kainé would slice and dice some Shades so he could feel blood again, and in return Tyrann would lend her his Shade powers (inhuman strength, speed, and magic) until she killed the Shade that took her grandmother from her. This, of course, served to make the village even more hateful and frightened of her, though she continued to protect it while awaiting revenge on the Shade that killed Kali. Then canon happened, but that's a whole 'nother story.
