i remember being at a party in a very nice track house (yeah, but it WAS nice... well, sort of) in colorado springs drinking homemade moonshine. it was the best alcohol i had ever tasted. it was almost like drinking spiced sugar, but it wasn't too sweet.

i thought absinthe was going to be the same for some reason.
