I have increased my accuracy landing kickflips to 75%. I'm not certain if that is permanent, but I will keep working on it.
On another note, I think Hot Fuss by The Killers may be one of my favorite albums from the first decade of the 2000's. Even though Mr. Brightside is the biggest hit from that album, and I generally shy away from hit songs, I think it's the best one on the album. I recently read about frisson-inducing music, which is basically a shudder of emotion when listening to a song or piece of music, and Mr. Brightside definitely has that affect on me. I think it's the pre-chorus leading into the chorus that really has the strongest impact in the song. It also reminds me of some really good times in my life, which probably also adds to that.
Also, I'm starting a new practice where I put my ipod on shuffle and whichever song comes up first, I listen to the whole album by that band. It's working pretty well so far.
