Bum death is exactly why. Also, raver death, hip-hoppers death, etc. etc. Even cooking vinegar is banned here because the bums were going after those.

Actually actually! It's this cartoonist featured on Cartoon Retro that drew profiles like that I ripped off (badly). I'll try to find him, but damn, he does the cutest pinchy faces.

I think it definitely is in some areas. Several people were drinking them like wine and dying from sodium overdose, or the like.
